License & refund terms

These terms cover Oakhammer B2B Pro and Business subscriptions sold by Oakhammer Software LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Oakhammer", "we"). By buying a subscription you agree to them.

1. The software license

Oakhammer B2B and Oakhammer B2B Pro are licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. The GPL governs the code: you may use, study, change and share it under its terms.

What you buy is a subscription: a license key that delivers the B2B Pro add-on and its updates to your site(s) through WordPress, plus email support, for the number of sites on your plan (1, 5 or 25). A site is one WordPress installation; staging and development copies of a licensed site do not count against your limit.

2. Billing and renewal

Plans are billed yearly in US dollars and renew automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel. We will email you before each renewal. You can cancel any time from your account; cancelling stops the next renewal.

Payments are processed by our reseller, Freemius, Inc., which acts as merchant of record: it charges your card or PayPal, calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT, and issues your invoice. Its terms and privacy policy also apply to the purchase.

3. Refunds

If B2B Pro isn't right for you, ask within 14 days of a purchase or renewal payment and we will refund that payment in full. Email hello@oakhammer.app with your order email. After a refund, the license is deactivated.

4. When a subscription ends

When a subscription ends (cancelled, refunded or not renewed), the Pro and Business features turn off on your sites, and updates and support stop. The free B2B plugin keeps working and your data stays: customers, roles, pricing rules, applications, quotes and orders are kept. Until you renew, wholesale customers get the free plugin's wholesale prices (or your retail prices), quotes and net terms are switched off, and orders already placed are not changed. Renew and the paid features turn back on with your settings intact.

5. Support

Support is by email and the plugin's Help & feedback page. We aim to reply within one business day (Monday to Friday, US Central time). Support covers using the plugin as documented; it does not include custom development or fixing other plugins or themes.

6. Your prices, quotes and terms are your responsibility

Oakhammer B2B calculates wholesale prices from the prices, costs and rules you enter, and produces quotes and net-terms orders from your settings. Check your roles, rules, costs, margin floors, quantity breaks, quote prices and net-terms allowances, and review quotes before you send them. We are not responsible for sales, quotes or credit extended at a price or on terms the software calculated or applied from your settings.

7. Warranty and liability

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, as stated in the GPL. To the extent the law allows, Oakhammer's total liability for any claim relating to the software or a subscription is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, or indirect or consequential damages.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; changes apply from your next renewal, and we will note the date above. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Johnson County, Texas.
